Dr. C. K. Wong is the
founder and Managing Principal of iASPEC, a group
of companies providing IT consulting services,
software products and services in Hong Kong, mainland
China and North America. The company was established
in 1988 and continues to maintain its headquarters
in Hong Kong.
Dr. Wong obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from the University of California.
He served as the Principal Architect in a State of California government data
centre from 1975 to 1981. He received the Distinguished Services Award from the
California Government in 1979. Dr. Wong returned to Mainland China in 1982 and
has served in several state-operated organizations and has held senior positions
in international IT companies in the Mainland and the Hong Kong SAR. |
Dr. Wong is a Distinguished Fellow of the Hong Kong
Computer Society. He is a member of the University
Grants Committee; a member of the Advisory Committee
on Creative Industry of the Central Policy Unit in the Hong Kong SAR Government.
Dr. Wong serves as members in the Advisory Committees of various engineering
faculties and IT related academic departments in the local universities and
