Widely acknowledged as the
leading HR event in the Asia-Pacific region, the HR
Directors' Forum 06 made its eighth stop of the 2006
series in Beijing on 27th October, marking a significant
milestone for the region's HR professionals.
A number of HR Directors' Forums were held earlier
this year in world class cities like Hong Kong, Shanghai,
Singapore, Auckland, Melbourne, Brisbane and Taipei,
followed by the Guangzhou Forum in December, focusing
on the latest HR management issues.
In addition to being the key sponsor of the Shanghai
Forum, A-Performers.com once again served as the Gold
Sponsor for the Beijing HR Directors' Forum 2006 and
also the event's prize sponsor with complimentary postings
on our highly effective online job site. "With online
recruitment having become such an important solution
for HR personnel in China, we are indeed pleased to
be able to show delegates just how far we can go and
how effective we can be."
As a high level industry event that attracts both
corporate HR decision makers from across the region
as well as international HR and business experts, the
Beijing HR Directors' Forum 2006 was a unique opportunity
for networking and knowledge sharing at the most senior
level.
Close to 90% of the delegates at the event were HR
directors, presidents, vice presidents and senior managers,
among whom 82% were from companies with over 300 employees,
according to figures released by event organiser Key
Media.
"The event was very good and was especially useful
for networking. The keynote session was excellent and
very candid," says Angel Kwok, training manager of
HSBC. Other sponsors and delegates were also impressed
by the high quality of the Forum. "This event really
targets the type of audience we are looking to reach
like multi-national company compensation and benefit
directors..., "says Bharat Kannan, regional director
for Aon Asia.
"The Beijing HR Directors' Forum was filled with
over 15 breakout workshops using real world studies
and
examining the newest trends and insights for developing,
improving, and solving human capital issues as well
as the challenges facing most multi-national as well
as local enterprises in China today," says Pian Leung,
event and conference producer.
