Henry is an internationally experienced Industrial & Organisational Psychologist with more than 15 years of experience in the field of assessment, talent management and organisation development. He is the Chair of the Division of Industrial and Organisational Psychology of Hong Kong and the immediate past president of the Hong Kong Psychological Society. Henry holds a Masters degree in I/O Psychology from the University of Johannesburg. He is a registered psychologist with the Hong Kong Psychological Society and the South African Health Professions Council.

Henry has spent the majority of his career building, designing and implementing organizational development and human capital solutions. His diverse and varied experience includes providing consultancy services and solutions to a wide variety of organizations such as the armed forces and national government, financial services, manufacturing, construction, transportation, and professional services operations in Asia, the US, UK, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.

Henry started his career with the South African Army where he served as combat officer and later the head of Organisational Development (OD). He later moved on to work at the SHL Group for five years, starting as a consultant in South Africa and then promoted to the Consulting Director Greater China for SHL Hong Kong. During this time he managed the consulting business for Hong Kong and Greater China and designed and delivered consulting projects across Asia. Following his role in the SHL Group, Henry joined Standard Charted Bank as Global Head of Selection, responsible for creating a global selection strategy, processes and assessment tools. He founded Henry Chamberlain Consulting in 2011 focusing on identifying and developing great leaders and building effective teams and organisations.

Henry thrives on variety and he is as comfortable coaching individuals and facilitating teams as he is formulating global assessment strategies and solutions. His clients benefit from his extensive global and Asian experience, in-depth knowledge of human behavior and assessment and his passion for creating innovative solutions.
