Athletes¡¦ Unique Quality - a "Go-Getter" Attitude "There are jobs that require skills that can only be learned in the classroom. However, many jobs can be built on international exposures and different work experiences. Athletes can bring to the workforce their unique assets such as a ¡§to-win¡¨ attitude, teamwork, passion and commitment" remarked Mr. Glennon. ¡§You cannot teach a winning attitude, and what is behind that winning attitude is hard work. It is project planning ¡V the training schedule with goals and objectives. It is competitive analysis ¡V It is research, and it is build on the knowledge of solid practices with the creativity it takes not just to compete but to break the mold and be one of the best. Although a coach helps an athlete achieve this result, in the end it is the athlete who must make the choices to win,¡¨ excerpts from Mr. Glennon‟s speech at the ceremony.
