August 18, 2014 - The global law firm Jones Day announced today that Mae Shan Chong has joined as a partner in the firm・s Private Equity Practice. Formerly a partner with White & Case, Mae will be based in the Firm・s Singapore Office. "We are delighted that Mae will be joining us in Singapore," said Sushma Jobanputra, Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day's Singapore office. "Mae・s international experience will add strength and depth to our team as we continue to grow our Private Equity and M&A practices in Southeast Asia and further enhance our ability to provide Singapore law advice to our clients."
Mae advises private equity and corporate clients as well as investment banks and hedge funds on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, buy-outs and corporate reorganizations. Her representative clients include CHAMP Private Equity, CLSA Capital Partners, Challenger Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund, Hermes GPE, Nestle Waters and PT Pertamina. She has advised clients on transactions across Asia including China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar.

Mae received a B.A. and M.A. (Law) from Cambridge University. She is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, Singapore and Malaysia. She was named a "Rising Star" for mergers and acquisitions by IFLR1000 (2014) in its Singapore Legal Market Overview. And ranked "Up and Coming" for Singapore Corporate/M&A: International by Chambers Asia-Pacific Guide (2014).

Hong Kong; 18 August 2014 - Fiona Lam has joined Brocade as senior marketing director for Asia Pacific (APAC), responsible for driving the company・s corporate and channel marketing strategies across the region. Lam will be based in Hong Kong and report directly to Brocade Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Christine Heckart. In her new role, Lam will spearhead strategic marketing initiatives, including focused channel programs, to reinforce Brocade・s leadership in Ethernet fabrics, Software-defined Networking (SDN), and Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV) across APAC.
A technology marketing veteran with two decades of industry experience driving corporate, field, and channel marketing initiatives for leading vendors, Lam was most recently head of marketing and director of channel marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan at Riverbed. While she was there, she led the entire marketing operation in APJ as well as driving targeted marketing programs that were vital in securing partnerships across an ecosystem spanning distributors, resellers, service providers, and integrators. Prior to Riverbed, Lam was vice president of marketing for Greater China at Monster.com, and held senior APAC field marketing and strategic partner development roles at Juniper Networks.

So will be responsible for driving continued growth and overseeing day-to-day operations in the market. So joins Groupon from iProperty Group, where she was Regional General Manager for Greater China, managing GoHome.com.hk and vProperty.com. So was responsible for everything from sales and marketing to product development and daily operations.

Hong Kong -14 August 2014 - Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) today announced the appointment of Gary Denman to the position of senior director for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). In this role, Denman will be responsible for leading the company's operations and go-to-market strategies in the ANZ region, with specific focus on accelerating growth in the software networking market in the region. He will be based in Sydney, Australia, and report to Adam Judd, Brocade vice president for Asia Pacific (APAC).
Denman brings more than 20 years of enterprise technology and sales leadership experience to Brocade. He was most recently managing director for ANZ at Polycom, where he led the company's regional growth in the unified communications market. He joined Polycom in 2012 with more than 18 years of sales leadership experience with Microsoft in the UK, Australia and Malaysia, where he was responsible for leading large teams to develop growth plans and customer opportunities.
