Hong Kong - 28 April 2014 - Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) announced the appointment of Gabriel Breeman to the newly created position of OEM director for Asia Pacific (APAC). In this role, Breeman will drive OEM strategies, strategic partnerships and alliance initiatives for the region to help position Brocade as the data centre networking partner of choice in the OEM partner business segment. Breeman will be based in Singapore and report directly to Brocade vice president for Asia Pacific (APAC), Adam Judd. Breeman was most recently the senior director for Global OEM at Fusion-io, where he was responsible for leading worldwide revenue growth strategies through OEM partners. Prior to Fusion-io, Breeman spent six years at Brocade as a Global Sales Executive and Corporate Account Director. He has also held direct end-user, indirect channel and OEM leadership roles at Dot Hill Systems and Sun Microsystems during his 20-year career in the information technology sector.

Hong Kong - 17 April 2014 - Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) announced the appointment of Matt Kolon to the role of chief technology officer (CTO) for Asia Pacific (APAC). In this new role, Kolon will be responsible for leading the company・s technology strategy and product roadmap within APAC. He will also help align technology initiatives and execution closely with customer needs across the region, particularly in the areas of network functions virtualisation (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN). Kolon will be based in Beijing, China, and report directly to Brocade vice president for APAC, Adam Judd.
With more than 15 years of specialised industry experience in developing long-term technical strategies with customers and partners, Kolon was most recently the APAC managing director for Evolved Programmable Network business and CTO for Service Providers at Cisco. Prior to Cisco, he spent 12 years at Juniper Networks, holding various executive roles in customer service, sales and marketing, and systems engineering.
"2014 will be the year where service providers, specifically those in APAC, start to test and deploy SDN in their data centres to drive growth and innovation for their businesses," said Adam Judd, vice president for Asia Pacific at Brocade. According to the Datacenter Dynamics, Asia Pacific data centre spending is forecast to reach US$15.6 billion in 2014, representing an 8.6 per cent growth, driven by investment in data centre infrastructure management, containerised data centres and modular offerings.

(NASDAQ: DRIV), a leading global provider of Commerce-as-a-Service solutions, today announced that Humphrey Chan has joined the company as its new general manager and vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan. Chan, a 20-year information industry veteran and specialist in Asian trade, will direct and expand the company's business in the Asia Pacific region, managing sales, marketing and day-to-day operations. Based in Digital River's Hong Kong office, Chan will manage the company's operations in Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, and Tokyo.

Born in Shanghai and educated in Hong Kong and the U.S., Chan has spent his career bridging the gap between the East and the West. He comes to Digital River from SafeNet, Inc., a Maryland-based data protection company, where he was vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan. At SafeNet, Chan was responsible for revenue growth and regional operations, building a multi-million-dollar business for the company by establishing a strong local presence, support infrastructure and comprehensive partner ecosystem. Prior to SafeNet, Chan worked for 10 years at Rainbow Technologies where he held various senior positions in channel development, marketing and sales management.

Jane Morgan has been named vice president and director of the Ketchum Greater China Consumer Brand Practice, reporting to Sean Fitzgerald, partner and executive vice president, Ketchum Greater China.
